Could Revelation be describing events that are already taking place?

I believe that Revelation is primarily describing events Christians will experience PRIOR to the return of Jesus. This post explains how knowing this can help in understanding the urgency of John’s plea to read, hear, and take to heart what is revealed in this enigmatic book.

Why the premise of the DVD, “Before the Wrath,” may not be biblical

Comparison of some teachings promoted by the “Before the Wrath” DVD with what the Bible actually says and why “After the Wrath” seems to make more sense.

What the parable of the wheat and tares may be telling us about the end times and what we can expect to experience as we wait for the return of Jesus

The three accounts of the return of Jesus in the Book of Revelation.

This post provides supports for my contention that there are three different accounts in the Book of Revelation of the return of Jesus and the events that precede it.

Why the parable of the thief coming in the night may be a warning to Christians (Matthew 24:42-44)

Jesus’ return, like the coming of a thief in the night, may not be good news for Christians who are unprepared for it.

Three things that must happen before Jesus returns (Matthew 23:37-39; Matthew 24:14; 2 Thessalonians 2:3)

Although there are many things that will happen before Jesus returns, there are three things that must happen. This post notes what those three things are.

Jesus’ return will be visible to everyone (Matthew 24:1-30; Luke 21:5-28)

This article summarizes my understanding of Jesus’ discourse regarding the end times recorded in Matthew 24 and Luke 21. My conclusion based on this and a future article I intend to write is that Jesus returns only once and that when He does, the results will be immediate and dire for those unprepared.

The Mark of the Beast may be a concern only for Christians (Revelation 13:11-17)

Why the only ones affected by the Mark of the Beast prior to Jesus’ return may be Christians.
